Grainne holds a BSc (Hons) Degree in Counseling and Psychotherapy.

Grainne’s approach to working with clients is through active “integrative” engagement. She draws on a background of training and experience from a Person-Centred, Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavioural therapy (CBT) and Gestalt therapies to assist clients in developing their individual strengths, competencies and their connections to self and others.

Grainne understands that going to a therapist is not an easy choice to make, yet when one has the time and freedom to talk about difficulties and uncertainties therapy can be invaluable.

Areas of particular interest to her are in self-esteem, building confidence and relationships. In addition, Grainne works with clients who are experiencing Anxiety, Depression, Parenting Issues, Stress, Bereavement and Loss and meets clients for a one-time consultation, short-term or long-term therapy.

Grainne also offers a limited number of low cost counselling and psychotherapy spaces to clients.
